Let’s Pause

Jesus says: "Let's take a break and get a little rest." Mark 6:31 (MSG)

As we approach Christmas this year, it seems we are busier than ever. The current Coronavirus crisis seems to be continuously causing chaos, and affecting our community in devastating fashion. But we are rising to the challenge, and helping our community in practical ways this Christmas. One of the ways we are contributing is by helping to send out 500 Christmas meals into our community during the week before Christmas.

So, as we get busier with the organising, and as we focus on what we need to do for our own households and families too, we’re going to take a break from posting on our website.

It may be a time for catching up with those things we enjoy too – such as exploring the wonderful world around us. The photo here was taken by my son, as he spent time walking the Snowdonia mountains in the early snow of the season. Follow him on his Instagram as he posts some wonderful photos.

Next year, we have plans to continue developing – and completing – the online recovery course. We’re also planning to publish the new book, ‘Called to Be a Disciple.’ And we’re also hoping to develop and build the Discipleship Course by enrolling a team of disciples to help run the course.

It’s going to be a fantastic year ahead. Above all, we are grateful that Jesus came on Christmas day, all those years ago, to save our souls and to give us hope for the future. That gives us hope for 2021 – may it be a year of Hope for you too. God Bless You.

May we pray: Thank You, Lord, for giving us the joy of Christmas, for giving us Your Son, as a Saviour. We ask now that you fill us with Hope for 2021, that it will be a year of healing and deliverance.  We ask this in the precious name of our Saviour, Christ Jesus; Amen.

We realise that Christmas is a difficult time for many, and if it’s a struggle for you – please get in touch. Even though we are taking a break from posting any news or articles on the website, we are still here. Take care, and may God Bless You.
