“Count your age by friends, not years. Count your life by smiles, not tears.” — John Lennon

John Lennon – one of the former Beatles, who lost his life at a very early age – once said this: “count your age by friends, not years; count your life by smiles, not tears.”

If we do this, it will change our whole outlook on our age and our life. As we get older (in age counted by years) we worry about our age – well, why not count your age by friends, and rejoice at how young you really are!

In life, we often remember our tears – those things we regret, the difficulties and the stressful times, and the mistakes we make. For some reason, they can dominate your memories. Instead, remember the good times, the good memories of happy days and joyful events.

It will change your whole outlook on life for the better. What better things to focus on than friends and smiles?
