“It’s not the mountains we conquer but ourselves.” — Sir Edmund Hilary, New Zealand mountaineer, explorer, one of the first to reach the summit of Mount Everest (1919-2008)

Whatever mountains you face, it’s not the mountain you need to conquer – it’s yourself.

Whether it’s a physical mountain, or an unsurmountable difficulty we face, what we need to realise is that the mountain is not the problem. We are. If we believe that we can overcome, then it’s just another hill to climb; if we don’t believe, then it’s a huge obstacle that we face.

“You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.”

Matthew 17:20 (NLT)

All you need is faith.
