Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NLT)
Last week, we read that we should “cast our cares” onto our heavenly Father and He is able to take care of things far better than we ever can.
We often feel weak, don’t we? When we face calamities and crises; when we struggle and suffer; when we fail and when we flounder. We feel weak. But we have the comfort that when we do feel weak, that’s when the power of Christ works best in us. It’s when we stop trying to do things in our own strength and surrender to God, that’s when He steps in and we find that situations and circumstances change.
Give Him control in your life and control of your life today, rely on His strength to carry on and face another day.
The #SundayScripture chosen each week this year will reflect the daily Scripture verse in the Bible app, YouVersion. Why not download the app, or log in online, each day so that you can read a daily Scripture verse?
