But when you give to someone in need, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. — Matthew 6:3 (NLT)

We end the year of #SundayScripture quotes with a verse from Matthew relating to giving. As we start the New Year, we are often so focused on what we want to do, with our New Year resolutions such as losing weight or exercising more and getting fit; we think less about others and what they need.

So, how about this year, we start by considering who we can help and what we can give or do to help? And let’s not shout it from the rooftops, let’s do it quietly and without fuss, without sharing on social media.

Perhaps it’s one of the best ways we can, in fact, have a Happy New Year! Why not give it a try in 2022?

The #SundayScripture chosen each week this year will reflect the daily Scripture verse in the Bible app, YouVersion. Why not download the app, or log in online, each day so that you can read a daily Scripture verse?
