“Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.” — Psalms 46:10 (NLT)

This must be one of the best known verses by Christians, and one that calls us to attention.

“Be still!” Be – do as it asks – just be, and be still. Don’t move, still your mind, still your thoughts, don’t think about anything else, don’t do anything else, just … be … still.

And know. You know? KNOW. Know that you know that you know, “that I am God.”

Do you know? Is He your God? In all your life? In everything you think, say and do?

May we stand in awe, and honour Him today, as we “Be still and know that I am God.
