“How great you are, O Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you. We have never even heard of another God like you!" — 2 Samuel 7:22 (NLT)

God is good … all the time. And all the time … God is good.

It’s a phrase that has been used rather glibly at times, without giving due reverence and meaning and understanding to the words being used. At least, that’s something that I sense.

The verse this Sunday reminds us how great God is. There is no-one like Him. Whatever situation you find yourself in today, I pray that you can proclaim, “How great you are, O Sovereign LORD!” He is greater than your troubles, wherever you are; He is greater than your sorrows, however deep they are; He is greater than your suffering, however severe they are.

May you know Him today, and may you shout out to Him, “How great you are, O Sovereign LORD!” Amen.
