“When in doubt - don't.” — Benjamin Franklin
It can be so hard, can’t it? When we have dreams, even small dreams. When we struggle and strive and search and seek our future success and significance, and often our fortune. But we just, almost, so close, nearly, virtually, narrowly, miss the boat or miss the mark. And all we do is struggle and strive and search and seek. It can be so hard.
Perhaps we, too, ought to find out where our dreams are going? And then, we can either “hook up with ’em later,” as the quote says, or just head off in that direction and get there earlier!
But how do we do that?
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT)
We simply need to ask! God knows the plans He has for you, so why not just ask Him?
Really? Ask God?
Yes, just ask – pray!
Heavenly Father, You know the plans you have for me. Please can you let me know what they are?! Make them known to me some way, somehow, so that I can follow Your plans as I make my way through this life. Thank You, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
