“Don’t watch the clock; do what it does. Keep going.” — Sam Levenson, American humorist, writer, teacher, television host, and journalist (1911-1980).

Do you know that feeling, when you’re just watching the time go by, wishing it would go quicker? We’re either bored and wish for something interesting to happen, or we’re fed up at work or somewhere else and wish we were able to leave at last and go back home or to meet a loved one. Time just drags … on and on … without stopping … relentlessly … ticking by … tic-toc, tic-toc, goes the clock. It never stops.

And sometimes, that is something we need to do. When we’re faced with difficulties, with struggles, with obstacles, with opposition, with hardship, with loss, with ill-health, with whatever it is we have to face. We need to be like a clock … just keep going.

May God Bless You, may He strengthen you and may He comfort you, may He be who He needs to be for you right now; and may you keep going.
