Socrates said it, and the Bible confirms it: the unexamined life is not worth living. You need to check that things are right in your life, from time to time. How are you doing? Is everything as it should be in your life? If you look back at your life, are you going to be satisfied or pleased with what you see? You may be a victim of your circumstances, but you are also the author of your circumstances. You, alone, are in control.
Test yourselves to make sure you are solid in the faith. Don’t drift along taking everything for granted. Give yourselves regular checkups. You need firsthand evidence, not mere hearsay, that Jesus Christ is in you. Test it out…
