“Live quietly in the moment and see the beauty of all before you. The future will take care of itself.” — Yogananda, Indian Hindu monk, yogi and guru (1893-1952)

The world around us often passes us by, or rather we pass by, without a thought or a care or a cursory glance. We scarcely take in the beauty that is to be found, even in the mundane and even more so in the meandering along life’s paths with its twists and turns. But occasionally, we look up and we have to stop in our tracks.

The photograph along with this article does not do justice to the tree ahead, it seems to blend in somehow with the surroundings. Not so in real life. It stood out, in its splendour and beauty, tall and upright and somehow declaring to the world, “here I am, look at me, aren’t I just beautiful?”

Sadly, so I believe, this once tall and splendid tree has been chopped down for some reason.

We, too, will be gone one day. Meanwhile, let’s take a moment and enjoy the beauty around us. As we worry about the future, we might miss the beauty. If we take time to see the beauty, the future will take care of itself.

May God Bless You, and we hope to see you soon.
