#WednesdayWisdom

“To make a difference in someone’s life, you don’t have to be brilliant, rich, beautiful, or perfect. You just have to care.” — Mandy Hale, author of ‘The Single Woman’

It can be a cold, selfish, uncaring world, can it not? I have to admit that I must seem to come across in that way at times. It’s not how I wish to seem, but at times I am so tied up and engrossed and drawn into the things I have to do, the places I have to go, and the people I have to meet later in the day, that I take little notice of the things, the places and even the people in front of me right now!

Our hand held  mobile phones / TV / computer / (un)social media devices don’t help! How often do we look across the table, that is if we even sit along a table together with others, to see everyone typing away or reading something on their mobile devices? What about the people right in front of them!

Love is an action, an caring is an action, a demonstration of how we actually feel about the people right in front of us. Let’s take a moment today, put away the mobile device – switch it off, if you can – and show someone you care about them. Let’s make a difference in someone’s life today, and show them that you care.

Be blessed in doing so, and have a great day.
