“Breathe. Let go. And remind yourself that this very moment is the only one you know you have for sure.” — Oprah Winfrey, American talk show host (born 1954).
Relax; breathe; let go. We will never know when our last day arrives and there will be no tomorrow.
How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog—it’s here a little while, then it’s gone.
You might think this is such a morbid thought; but it should be a reminder. It’s so easy to worry about tomorrow, next week, next month, next year; how can we get everything done in time for Christmas? How will we manage to pay the rent at the end of the month? What if the car breaks down? What if I can’t find a job?
Relax; breathe; let go. Let go of the worries, and let God take care of everything. After all, He has already decided your future and whether you will be here tomorrow or not, so you might as well let go and let God take care of the rest. Then enjoy the moment. Enjoy the flower whilst in bloom; enjoy the sunset while it glows; enjoy the company you have around you whilst it remains.
And when tomorrow comes … thank God for another day, and enjoy every single moment you have.
